Es vedrá
When you visit Ibiza, it is almost impossible not to notice this large, incredible and magical rocky island. Located on the southwest coast of Ibiza, it is a very popular tourist attraction, and it is not difficult to understand why.
Rising more than 400 meters above sea level, Es Vedrá is composed mainly of limestone and the island itself is uninhabited. It is part of the Cala d'Hort nature reserve, known for its crystal-clear waters, where one of the best coves in Ibiza can be found. An ideal place to admire this magical island is from Cala d’Hort beach, but why not enjoy the breathtaking views from a boat?
From Ibiza’s port, it takes approximately an hour and a half to reach Es Vedrá. On the way to the magical island, we will make several stops near the beautiful Salinas beach, where you can take a swim, enjoy a drink and a snack, or take part in some fun water activities, such as the Seabob, which allows you to swim like a dolphin with the easiest, safest and most fun electric watercraft.
After spending some time in the sun enjoying water activities or simply relaxing, we will sail towards Es Vedrá. Although Es Vedrá is incredible to see during the day, it undoubtedly has one of the most beautiful sunsets in Ibiza. The closer you get to the rock, the more you feel its powerful energy. Sometimes, equipment may even malfunction or the compass may go crazy. Some people claim that Es Vedrá is the third most magnetic place on Earth. Could that explain what happens?
Es Vedrá is known for its myths and legends. Some claim to have seen UFOs flying above it or that it has an underwater UFO base, while others say it is the lost city of Atlantis. Whatever story you choose to believe, once you have seen it, it will leave you with a beautiful memory.
